Adrian (1-8, 0-0)

The Adrian College women's tennis team lost 9-0 to Aquinas in the team's only action last week. The Bulldogs took six total games in doubles and junior Julia Maltbie had the best performance in singles, winning six total games in a pair of 6-3 set losses in the six spot.

Kalamazoo (3-3, 0-0)

Olivet (1-7, 0-0)

Did not compete. Olivet returns to competition Saturday, March 23 against Grace Christian (Mich.).


Saint Mary's (7-4, 0-0)

The Belles bounced back from losses against No. 11 Trinity (Texas) and Connecticut College with a 6-3 victory over Concordia Texas last week. The Belles set the tone with strong doubles play with three wins against the Tornados. Alyssa Gulli did not drop a game in a 6-0, 6-0 win at four singles, and Meredith Heckert clinched the team win with a 7-5, 6-2 decision at three singles for the Belles. Lilly Chamberlin prevailed in a close third-set tiebreaker for a 6-2, 2-6, 1-0 (10-8) final at five singles.


Trine (6-3, 0-0)

The Thunder were inactive last week. They will take the court again twice in the upcoming days, taking on Bethel (Ind.) College on Wednesday, March 20 and Wittenberg University on Saturday, March 23.
