• Albion improved to 2-0 on the year with a convincing 20-2 win at Franklin (Ind.) March 3. The Britons scored the game's first six goals on the way to a 12-1 halftime lead; Lauren Wiegland (Sr., Brighton, Mich.) and Cait Gaitley (Sr., Grosse Pointe, Mich.) had three goals apiece in the first half to set the tone.

• Alma went 1-1 in a two-game set hosted by the University of Dallas. The Scots defeated their hosts March 2, 18-5, fueled by a six-goal performance from Brianna Soriano (Sr., San Diego, Calif.).

• Kalamazoo earned a 15-4 win at Illinois Tech March 3, bolstered by a first-half hat trick by Rachel Madar (Fr., DeWitt, Mich.); Madar finished with a game-high six goals.

• Trine split a pair of contests last week, including a gritty 6-5 win at Wilmington (Ohio) Feb. 28. Rebecca Plantz (Sr., DeWitt, Mich.) scored what proved to be the game's decisive goal with just over five minutes remaining, while the Thunder defense held Wilmington in check.

• Earning MIAA Athlete of the Week honors for March 5 were:

  - Defense: Audrey Poteet, Trine

  - Offense: Rachel Madar, Kalamazoo
