A Hope College women's basketball pair has been recognized by D3hoops.com for their outstanding performances this season.

Guard Kenedy Schoonveld has been selected to the D3hoops All-America Second Team. The junior from Zeeland, Michigan (Holland Christian HS) is one of five student-athletes on the second team and 25 total honorees.

Morehouse has been chosen as the D3hoops Women's Basketball Coach of the Year.

Schoonveld and Morehouse led the Flying Dutch to the only unbeaten season in Division III this season with a 29-0 record. Hope was one of 16 teams remaining in the NCAA Tournament when the tournament was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Flying Dutch won MIAA regular-season and tournament titles. They went undefeated in MIAA regular-season play for the seventh time in team history and 16-0 for the first time.

MIAA coaches chose Schoonveld as the MIAA's Most Valuable Player. She also was named a Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-American this season.

Morehouse previously was the D3hoops Coach of the Year in 2006 when he led the Flying Dutch to a national title.
The WBCA also named Morehouse as its Division III Coach of the Year for the second time this season.
