Albion (18-7, 10-6)

Rain Hinton averaged 20.5 points last week shooting 65 percent (17-26) from the field and also grabbed 10.5 rebounds per game. Hinton has eight 20-point games this season and in four of the last five games with six double-doubles this season…Emily Bernas averaged 19.0 points last week, shooting 58 percent from the field (14-24) and making all seven free throw attempts.

Alma (14-11, 9-7)

The Scots went 2-0 for the second consecutive week with wins at Saint Mary's College on Wednesday and against Adrian College on Saturday. Alma never trailed against the Belles in the 65-49 victory as senior forward Madeline Barnauskas (Livonia, Mich.) scored a season-high 22 points. The Scots then celebrated its senior class of Barnauskas, guard Alexandria Bilbo (Dewitt, Mich.) and Student Manager Brooke Jackman before the game against the Bulldogs. Barnauskas once again led the way with a game-high 15 points while junior guard Madison Hill (Midland, Mich.) filled up the stat sheet with 12 points, six assists and six rebounds as Alma won 64-51, securing the fourth seed in this week's MIAA Tournament. The Scots reached the postseason for the first time since 2010 and will have their first home playoff game in 14 years.

No. 8/10 Hope (22-3, 14-2)

The Flying Dutch finished the regular season with a 78-52 win at Adrian and an 84-33 Senior Day victory against Olivet at DeVos FIeldhouse. The Flying Dutch (22-3 overall) came in second in the MIAA with a 14-2 league record. Senior forward Francesca Buchanan (Grant, Mich.) scored a game-high 20 points against Olivet to move into second place all-time among Flying Dutch players with 1,431 career points.

Kalamazoo (0-25, 0-16)

The Hornets completed their 2018-19 season with losses to Albion (93-39) and Trine (95-55). Georgie Andrews led Kalamazoo in scoring in both games with 25 total points and also collected 16 rebounds. Freshman Kaytlyn Tidey led Kalamazoo this season in scoring at 14.1 points per game. Tidey also broke the school record for three-pointers in a season with 121. Senior Amanda Moss ended the season at 9.1 points per game. Andrews and Sierra Fraser ended at 7.3 and 7.1 rebounds per game which put the pair at fourth and fifth in the MIAA, respectively.


Olivet (8-17, 4-12)

The Comets ended their season with losses to Calvin and Hope last week. Senior Shawnee Dame led the Comets in both games, scoring 17 points against Calvin and 12 points against Hope.


Saint Mary's (10-15, 7-9)

The Belles lost a pair of home games against Alma and Albion as they enter the MIAA Tournament as the #6 seed. Giavanna Paradiso posted a double-double for the second time this season to lead the team with 21 points and 12 rebounds, and Erin Maloney chipped in 11 points and six rebounds against Alma. Paradiso again paced Saint Mary's with 17 points and six rebounds while Caroline Macius matched a career-high point total with 11 after posting a 50.0 percent effort from the floor and a 75.0 percent (3-of-4) clip from behind the arc while adding five rebounds and two steals against Albion.
