• In one outing last week, Albion utilized a 22-10 advantage in the third quarter to pull away from Adrian Jan. 6, 71-53. The Britons got a 17-point performance from Haley Nugent (Fr., G, Jackson, Mich.) off the bench.
• Calvin tallied two key MIAA wins to stay in the top half of the MIAA standings. The Knights started with a 74-46 win over Adrian Jan. 3, fueled by a 19-point, 15-rebound effort by Bre Luurtsema (Sr., G, Holland, Mich.); Calvin then added a 59-50 win over Alma Jan. 6.
• After a critical 57-46 road win over Trine Jan. 3, Hope remained undefeated on the season with an 84-49 victory against Kalamazoo Jan. 6. In the win at Trine, the Flying Dutch out-rebounded the Thunder 51-35; Olivia Voskuil (Fr., F, Holland, Mich.) had a team-best 15 rebounds to go with 10 points.
• Saint Mary's was victorious in their lone contest last week, defeating Olivet Jan. 3, 67-57. Gabby Diamond (Sr., F, Chicago, Ill.) had a double-double of 12 rebounds with a career-best 29 points.
