Ten MIAA Softball Players Garner All-Region Accolades from NFCA
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Ten Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association softball players from five programs garnered All-Region honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association May 15. The All-Region honorees include five from Trine, who will represent the MIAA in the Super Regional round of the 2019 NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

Eight regions feature three teams, with 15 players on each squad. Three players - Calvin's Hannah Biddlecome, Olivet's Kinslea Blouin, and Trine's Makenna Hartline - were first-team all-Central Region selections.
All-Region players are nominated and selected by NFCA member coaches in each of the eight Division III regions. First team All-Region choices are eligible for selection to the NFCA All-America team, which will be announced the evening of May 22 online at NFCA.org and in person at the NCAA Division III Championship banquet in Tyler, Texas.
