Around the MIAA

Adrian (3-7, 0-0)

The Adrian College men's tennis team lost its only match of last week, a 5-4 decision in a dual with Aquinas. The Bulldogs took two doubles matches and the four and five spots at singles in the loss.


Albion (4-4, 0-0)

It took Albion College a little more than two hours to dispatch Defiance College, 9-0, in a non-league action last Wednesday. Josh McGarry (Macomb, Mich.) and Toma Shngoo (Clio, Mich.) won their singles matches in straight sets. They have won three of their last four matches.


Alma (3-6, 0-0)

Did not compete. The Scots will host Grace (Ind.) Thursday, March 21.


Calvin (5-2, 0-0)

Did not compete.


Hope (3-3, 0-0)

Did not compete. Hope returned to competition Tuesday, March 19 against Goucher.


No. 25 Kalamazoo (2-2, 0-0)

Did not compete. The Hornets are back in action Sunday, March 24 at Oglethorpe.


Olivet (0-4, 0-0)

Did not compete. Olivet returns to competition Saturday, March 23 against Grace Christian (Mich.).


Trine (5-5, 0-0)

The Thunder were inactive last week. They will take the court again twice in the upcoming days, taking on Bethel (Ind.) College on Tuesday, March 19 and Wittenberg University on Saturday, March 23.
