2018-19 MIAA Year In Review - Men's Tennis

Among the highlights from the 2018-19 season:

- Kalamazoo cruised to a 7-0 record against MIAA opponents on the way to capturing the 2019 MIAA Men's Tennis Championship. The Hornets dropped just one game in seven MIAA matches in 2019, which came in an 8-1 win over Hope April 18.

- As the top seed, Kalamazoo defeated Hope 5-0 to win the 2019 MIAA Men's Tennis Tournament Championship. Alex Cadigan was the lone two-time winner for the Hornets, pairing with Tytus Metzler for an 8-2 win at No. 3 doubles before a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 6 singles.

- Kalamazoo's Ian Yi had a stellar first season with the Hornets, earning not only MIAA Player of the Year honors, but being named an All-American by the ITA. On the year, Yi owned a 21-5 singles record.
