Hope (7-4-0, 0-0-0)

Hope earned a healthy advantage in shots against Alma College on Wednesday. The Flying Dutchmen converted enough of them to claim a 4-0 victory on a rainy night at Van Andel Soccer Stadium. Four different goal scorers powered the Flying Dutchmen: sophomore midfielder Ryan Flynn (Bloomington, Ill.), sophomore forward Alec Belcastro (Washington, Pa.), junior midfielder Ty Dalton (Rockford, Mich.) and sophomore midfielder Griffin Bruso (Bloomington, Ill.). The shutout was Hope’s sixth of the season. Hope is ranked No. 6 in the United Soccer Coaches Central Region poll.
