Adrian remains a perfect 3-0 on the season after going 2-0 at the Kiwanis Classic, hosted by Wilmington (Ohio) over the weekend. The Bulldogs' opened the tournament with a 1-0 win over the hosting Quakers, with Garrett Miller owning the lone goal. Day two saw a more dominant performance as Adrian beat Wabash 3-0, with goals by Zach Combs, Garrett Miller, and Grant Perrine.
First-year forward Alex Sayeg (Franklin, Mich.) scored in the 64th minute and junior goalkeeper Maximilian Loria (Sterling Heights, Mich.) was decisive in the back as Albion picked up a much needed result at Alumni Field Sunday afternoon. Albion defeated Hiram College, 1-0, for its first victory of the season. Albion controlled possession 59 percent of the time and generated 18 shots; however, it did not break through until midway through the second half. Midfielder Moses Jatta, forward Jason Warras, and Sayeg all peppered two shots on goal. Loria finished with five saves and covered the ball on several occasions to prevent the Hiram forwards from getting a shot.
Senior Noah Canlas (Naperville, Ill.) singlehandedly erased a 2-0 deficit in a 3-2 win over Knox College on Saturday (Sept. 7). The goals were Canlas's second and third of the year, giving him the lead on the team. The Scots dropped matches to Carthage and Wisconsin-Whitewater last week.

Four different goal scorers struck in the second half to give the Hope College men's soccer team a 4-0 victory vs. Transylvania on Saturday at Ohio Northern: Freshman Charlie Rogers (Ann Arbor, Mich.), sophomore Alec Belcastro (Washington, Pa.), freshman Nic Kubert (Rochester Hills, Mich.), and senior Logan Bylsma (Hudsonville, Mich.). Kalamazoo sits at 2-1-1 on the season following a pair of road contests this week. The Hornets began the week with a 7-0 victory over Manchester before a 1-1 draw at Defiance on Saturday. Dahwi Kim had a big week for Kalamazoo as the junior from South Korea tallied two goals and an assist. Ben Meschke added two more goals on to their season total as the junior has now found the back of the net in all four games this year. The Hornets continue their non-conference portion on the schedule this week at they travel to Michigan-Dearborn on Wednesday before playing host to North Central (Ill.) on Saturday.
