FREELAND, Mich. -- The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) has formed an educational programming series titled MIAA D.R.E.A.M. for its student-athletes, which will kick off on October 14th.
The MIAA D.R.E.A.M. series was created in order to provide opportunities for student-athletes to dive deeper into topics such as diversity and inclusion, financial literacy, social justice, mental health and more.
D - Dedicated to diversity and inclusion
R - Redefining bravery
E - Empowering student-athletes
A - Advocating for oneself and others
M - Managing finances for a successful future
All programs, with the exception of The Brave Intensive, are first come first serve. Check the MIAA's social media to stay up-to-date on registration openings.

*Only 20 student-athletes will be accepted. This program is rigorous and requires commitment, attendance and work. It is 3 weeks of dedicated work that includes pre-programming, a 4-hour session on 11/5, and 2 weeks worth of independent work with a final, follow-up phone call. This Intensive is for the underdog in spirit who wants to learn strategy to rise to challenges, the person interested in growing their leadership guts, the teammate whose consistent live action inspires others.
