During the regular season a team receives three points for
a win, one point for a tie and no points for a loss.
In the league tournament
a first round win is three points, a semifinal round win is six points and
the championship game win is nine points. When there is a tie in the tournament,
the shootout winner receives two-thirds of the alloted points and the loser one-third.
