Players of the Week

Player of the Week
Calvin middle blocker Lizzie Kamp, a freshman from Orland Park, Ill. (Chicago Christian HS), had 38 kills for an average of 3.45 per game for the week in leading the Knights to the MIAA tournament title. She had 14 kills in a first-round match against Saint Mary’s and 13 kills in the championship match against Hope. Kamp added 19 digs, including 11 against Hope, and 10 blocks. She is being honored as Player of the Week for the first time in her career.

Specialty Player of the Week
Calvin libero Kelsey Sears, a senior from Traverse City (West HS), led Calvin in digs for the MIAA tournament with 71, averaging 6.45 digs per game. She had 28 digs in the championship match against Hope and 27 against Saint Mary’s. Sears is being honored as Specialty Player of the Week for the second time this season and the fourth time in her career.
