Albion is committed to setting the standard for liberal arts institutions nationwide, and that goal includes creating a model for college-community collaboration. " Liberal Arts At Work," Albion College's groundbreaking vision for a liberal arts education in the 21st century, includes the core curriculum, majors and minors, Institutes, the Foundation for Interdisciplinary Study, and the Foundation for Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity. The College is currently engaged in a major fund-raising campaign to endow the main components of the vision and renovate its science facilities.
