MIAA to be Well Represented at Championships
Men's Championship
The MIAA will be well represented at the NCAA Division III men's golf championship when play begins Tuesday. The four-day, 72-hole tournament will be played on two courses at the Chateau Elan Resort in Braselton, Ga. Olivet senior Joe Kiss (East Leroy/Harper Creek HS) is one of five individual golfers invited to the tournament. League champion Hope has qualified as a team for the third consecutive year. Members of the Hope team are junior Don Kring of Williamsburg (St. Francis HS), senior Matt Lapham of Brighton (Brighton HS), senior Steve Martindale of Midland (H.H. Dow HS), senior Ryan Sheets of Saline (Saline HS) and senior Tommy Yamaoka of Zeeland (Zeeland East HS).
Tournament Information

Women's Championship
MIAA champion Olivet will compete at the NCAA Division III women's golf championship beginning Tuesday at the Centennial Oaks Golf Club in Waverly, Iowa. Members of the Olivet team are sophomore Megan Rimmel (Ithaca HS), junior Trisha McKim (DeWitt HS), senior Amanda Sanders (Concord HS), junior Lindsay Pipkin (White Lake/Lakeland HS) and freshman Amber Conrad (Battle Creek/Harper Creek HS).

Hope's John Pelton Receives NCAA Invite
Hope junior John Pelton of Rock Hill, S.C. (Midland, Mich. HS) will compete in the singles competition of the NCAA Division III championship to be held May 16-18 at Bates College in Lewiston, Me. He is one of 32 players invited to compete in the singles competition.
Pelton was conference MVP this season.
